The innovative team behind Big Golden Pineapple began as the award-winning Fintech firm, DJS (UK) Limited, founded in 2012.

Under DJS (UK) Limited, we launched one of the UK's leading high-cost short-term credit lenders, PiggyBank.

We had a vision to do things differently, and lead the way for the rest of the industry.

We also created and ran everything internally, building our own state of the art end-to-end solution that meant we could operate at optimum efficiency.

We used our experience in the financial services sector, along with all our successful business functions, to create core products to help the market.

With experts in financial brokerage, customer service, recruitment, portfolio investments, technology and online marketing, Big Golden Pineapple can help businesses from start-ups to fully established corporations.

We are the definition of small but mighty.

As a collective, we each bring something unique and powerful to the table, and our individual skills are never under-appreciated or under utilised.

What services do you offer your clients, and how do you do it?

Big Golden Pineapple is an investment vehicle and holding company that allows our range of products to get the funds, focus and flexibility they need.

We work within both the B2B and B2C spheres, across a range of industries.

Big Golden Pineapple is the parent company for businesses such as Leadtree Global, Wheelie Good Finance, Pineapple Recruitment, as well as other ventures.

We therefore offer a number of services to our clients, from brokerage services to help with recruitment.Essentially, at Big Golden Pineapple, we apply innovation and technology to meet the needs of organisations and individuals alike.

Give us an example of one of your greatest achievements

One of our big projects recently was the launch of Pineapple Recruitment.

We started this business during the global pandemic, as we wanted to do what we could for local individuals and businesses.

We’ve seen fantastic growth since launching, and helped place many candidates in great roles.

Pineapple Recruitment are furthermore delighted to have been awarded the Southern Enterprise Award this year, for the ‘Most Trusted Recruitment Company 2021’.

Here at Big Golden Pineapple, we’re also incredibly proud of the fact that over years of working with each other, we've optimised our approach to enable tight communication and peak efficiency, with everyone firmly focused on a common goal.

This has meant that we’ve been able to operate on a business as usual basis throughout the global pandemic, shifting between our office space and working from home seamlessly.

Why did you choose Bourne Space?

We’ve been based in Dorset for a number of years now, and have found it to be an idyllic location, full of inspiring views and enthusiastic people.

Within Bournemouth itself, there is also a sense of community, and the ecosystem of Bourne Space reflects this.

While there are multiple businesses working within different sectors, we’re all trying to help our customers, and provide outstanding service across the board.

What is the most important feature of Bourne Space for your company?

Perhaps the best feature for our business at Bourne Space is the flexibility.

As a growing business, we have needed to expand our office space, and the team is always happy to accommodate.

And if we have any other requests, the staff are incredibly approachable and willing to help.We also love the rooftop garden at Bourne Space, using it whenever possible - especially in the summer months!

Tell us how the community at Bourne Space has allowed you to collaborate and/or network with other Bourne Space members.

We love the culture at Bourne Space, which allows local businesses with common goals to work in the same space.

These organisations are passionate about their work, and are always willing to work together.

In a lot of industries, it’s all about oneupmanship, stepping over another company to reach the top. But Bourne Space aim to create a community within their offices, where businesses can learn from each other and help local companies flourish.

What’s next for your business?

The most exciting upcoming project for Big Golden Pineapple is the launch of our new business, Wheelie Good Finance.

This product is designed to help people find the best car finance deal for their situation, comparing our network of lenders to provide them with a suitable option.

Even if the individual has a less than perfect credit history, we’ll try to find a solution that works for them.

Our overall aim is to streamline the car finance process and take the hassle out of borrowing.
