Hi, guys. Tell us more about Ridge Asset Management
Ridge Asset Management was formed in June 2017 by Chris Ridge following a career of over 35 years working for other people in London, Southampton and Bournemouth.
During his career Chris has made many business and property contacts who have become long standing clients and friends and who have encouraged and supported the formation of Ridge Asset Management which now provides a niche commercial property consultancy and advisory service.
What services do you offer your clients, and how do you do it?
We have a deep knowledge and many years experience dealing with a raft of commercial property issues and problems acting for private individuals, SME businesses, investors, developers and land owners.
Whether it is advice on business relocation, lease disputes, valuations, property strategy, investment appraisals or property asset management, Ridge Asset Management provide independent, honest advice.
We are not a property agent and have no axe to grind when it comes to advising our clients. We have a network of trusted advisors and specialists whom we work closely with on a project by project basis to ensure our clients get the best possible service.
Whilst most of our work is in the central south coast area we also work with clients across the UK and have a network of consultants regionally based.
Give us an example of one of your greatest achievements
That’s a difficult one – we have helped many businesses to resolve their property issues over the years. What we really enjoy is getting to know our clients business, applying our property experience and so helping them to achieve their business objectives.
Often they do not realise how property assets and liabilities can be the difference between success and failure.
Our greatest projects tend to be where we can help achieve a successful outcome for our clients – whether this is a relocation, successfully resolving a landlord & tenant dispute or simply saving money.
Why did you choose Bourne Space?
We have been based in Bourne Gardens since it opened in 2018 and quite simply it is the best managed office space in Bournemouth!
The location of Bourne Gardens adjacent to Urban Garden Bar and Restaurant is a real bonus. The contemporary offices and meeting facilities with stunning views over the central gardens is wow factor and unique.
The Bourne Space staff go the extra mile to make sure their members are looked after.
What is the most important feature of Bourne Space for your company?
For a small business it has to be collaboration within a contemporary office environment. Being able to cycle to my office along the beach front is a bonus.
Tell us how the community at Bourne Space has allowed you to collaborate and/or network with other Bourne Space members.
The team are regularly organising social events, health & wellbeing opportunities and business learning/networking events. Wednesday treats are always appreciated as is the rooftop pilates!
